Nourishing Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 lbs ground beef (cooked and drained)
  • 1 head cabbage (cleaned and chopped)
  • 2 medium onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 28 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1.5 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Brown and drain ground beef.
  • Add all ingredients to stock pot (adjust water as necessary to ensure it covers all ingredients).
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour – add time until desired tenderness and consistency is reached.
